About Triumph

History

More and more, large local banks have been purchased by larger non-local institutions. Smaller community banks have also been purchased and seem to make more decisions out of town.

Concerned that true local banking was becoming extinct, Lane Carrick, Chairman of the Board and President/CEO of Sovereign Wealth Management, formed a group of respected local bankers and business leaders to do something about it. This is where the idea for Triumph Bank was born.

Our founders’ vision was to bring back all of the good that is associated with genuine hometown banking, combined with the most modern products, services and conveniences. But they realized this was easier said than done, and had no intention of starting this bank unless Triumph could deliver on its promises.

After many months and long hours of careful planning, here we are. We know we have a tall order to fill and a lot to prove. One thing is certain. We’ve built Triumph Bank entirely for this community and around what customers want. This gives you the power of here. And when you have that, you triumph.

History In The Making

Right now we’re in the construction phase of our spacious new headquarters at 5699 Poplar Avenue (Poplar at I-240 – our Germantown office will remain open). Outside, our headquarters will be easily accessible and become a symbol of pride for our community. Inside you’ll find a blend of modern sophistication and friendly comfort. Check here periodically to watch our headquarters come to life, from now until ribbon cutting in early 2007.
